Bio
My name is Inés Zulueta and I am a bilingual psychotherapist based in Madrid. I started my professional journey in New York City, where I provided mental health counseling for parolees. At my return to Spain, I delved in other areas of psychology; working with children and teenagers with special education needs, and treating adult expats from different cultural backgrounds who had a variety of therapeutic goals.
At present, I work in a private practice located at the city center in Madrid. I specialize in adult and adolescent patients in both spanish and english language. I frequently treat a wide variety of clinical disorders and problems such as anxiety, mood, interpersonal problems, grief, assertiveness and communication, life crisis, phobias… My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral based and I am currently continuing my training in modern psychodynamic approaches to therapy.
My main goal as a therapist is to create a safe, stable bond with my patients so they can find a healthy way out to their suffering. I adapt to their individual needs in order to guide them in their change process.
